Join the SWEAR Committee!

Membership Responsibilities & Requirements

• Must be enrolled as a student at a San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD) high school

• Establish and lead a student-run group that is dedicated to promoting wellness education and increasing access to mental health resources

• Meet twice monthly with the SWEAR Committee via Zoom (one of the student representatives from each school must attend each meeting)

• Coordinate with your school's administration, staff, and teachers to implement mental health and wellness education into the curriculum

• Ensure that there is a safe space for students and their mental health issues on each campus.

• Connect students at your school to mental health services and resources

Members will be assisted by the SWEAR Committee in their own mental health campaigns at their individual schools and founding their own clubs.
